How To Use Credit Card Readers:

To use CC Reader(s), plug them into a USB-A port or your adaptor for your USB-C port.

The Reader(s) are ready for use when the light on top turns Green.

Swipe a credit card when a payment screen is open on your device. The payment screen will recognize the Reader and auto-fill the card information into the correct payment fields.
*(NOTE: Credit Card Readers will NOT work with tablets, iPads, Phones, or any other devices without a USB port).
*Additionally, our Credit Card Readers are NOT compatible with Chromebooks or other Low-Powered Operating Systems.
(Low powered devices are not recommended for Check-In or Check-Out to ensure everything runs smoothly.)
Things to Know...

CC Reader Orders should be made a MINIMUM of 7 business days before your event date. (Orders ship on Thursdays)

CC Readers work with all gateways EXCEPT Vanco and Element/Vantiv, which utilize encrypted cc readers.
(If you process credit cards with Vanco or Element/Vantiv, do not order card readers here - instead, contact your gateway directly to request encrypted card readers.) -
CC Readers need only to be plugged into a standard-size USB-A port to be ready to use.

CC Readers will work with ANY Computer OS(Operating System) and any browser but require a USB-A port.

Newer devices with USB-C ports must utilize an adaptor (not provided).

Newer High-Speed devices with USB4 (USB-C4) ports may not be compatible with our CC Readers.
(There is no visual difference between these ports and a USB-C port. We recommend testing your CC Readers before your event date.) -
We recommend one reader for every 70 guests.
