When you fly into Bergerac, it takes only 20 minutes to drive from there to this very beautiful and secure house, yet a stone's throw away from the centre of the pretty little village of Beaumont du Perigord. The village is close enough to be really convenient but just the right distance away to not feel like you're right in the middle of it. The handful of little patisseries, butchers, restaurants and cafe/bars situated around the village square are perfect to pick up groceries from or to relax outside of. A slightly larger supermarket is just a five minute drive up the road. The house itself offered plenty of space, so you never feel like you are under one another's feet. The interior decor is clean and modern, ideal if you were staying out of season or had a rainy day inside. The pool area is gorgeous, peaceful and a great sun trap. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and perfect for long walks or runs.
